Join me for an Introduction to Vinyasa Flow Workshop. This workshop is ideal if you're new to yoga and feel ready to refine or add another layer of depth to your practice. It's also ideal if you haven't practiced yoga for a while and wish to have a quick refresher.
The afternoon will be used to link individual postures (asanas) into a flowing sequence and work through transitions commonly practiced in a vinyasa flow class. A more in depth exploration of sun salutations and their variations will also be covered, to enable individuals to feel confident about attending the slightly more dynamic pace of a vinyasa flow class.
Objectives
• Learn transitions that are used to flow between poses
• A more in depth exploration of sun salutations
• Explore other versions of asanas that can be used to suit your body
• Link foundational asanas into a flowing sequence
• Explore breathing and relaxation techniques
• Learn some new poses and integrate familiar ones
